Clowndance Syllabus

Game: One Person Moving
The game is that one person must always be moving, while everyone else stands still. There should always be one person moving, but never more than one.

You can pass the move on and make it clear that it's somebody else’s turn
You can steal the move
You can signal when you're starting and stopping or you can trick everyone

Then…
Let the movement evolve from walking into something else- can one person be grooving, being a cat, or doing tendus? Keep the original rule as strictly as possible while evolving the movement.

Reflection
What did you see?
What did you hear?
What did you feel?
Adapted from a game by John Wright, from his book Why is That So Funny? (2006)
